Motion Control – Application – Radioactive Environment
ETX Pillow/Block Bearings for Radioactive Environments

Motion Control – Application – This was a troublesome application. This system is completely submerged in radioactive water at a nuclear power plant. So no Teflon, no seals, no lubrication – nothing that will degrade in a radioactive environment. The majority of components are stainless steel – except for our ceramic coated/supported shafting and our special, designed for this particular application/never made before, ETX self-lubricating linear blocks.
Motion Control – Fluidline Bearings Available from LM76 are FDA/USDA/3A-Dairy Compliant!
Motion Control – Thermoplastic Linear Bearings
E. Longmeadow, MA — Motion Control – Linear Motion Bearings – FDA/USDA/3A compliant bearings, Seals, Shafting, and Pillow Blocks are available from LM76.
LM76 Fluidline BearingsTM are long wearing thermoplastic polyester self lubricating, low coefficient of friction, light weight linear bearings. Available off-the-shelf in standard closed inch sizes (closed metric sizes are available on request) these bearings drop-in replacements for standard linear bearings. They are highly resistant to wash-down chemicals and high energy radiation such as gamma and x-rays.
