Motion Control – Video – The integration of high precision Rotary and Goniometer Stages creates platforms for the precise measurement of curves and angles. The YP100-45 Series (-01 thru -04) of Dual-axis Stages has been released by Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc. (OES). These compact, Yaw Pitch Stages features high precision rotary stages capable of 360 degrees of continuous rotation (clockwise/counterclockwise) and goniometers with +/45 degrees of travel. The table of the goniometer (upper) measures 104 mm x 90 mm with a precision pattern of threaded holes for tooling and fixtures. The YP100-45 Series Dual-axis stages are on a mounting plate for easy integration into new and existing applications.

The AX40-F1VR-ND and the AX40-F1VL-ND Linear (X-axis) Stages have a 40 mm (1.575 in.) by 40 mm (1.575 in.) table and a stroke length of 15 mm (0.590 in.).

Motion Control – Video – An extensive series of XZG Motion Control Positioning Stages (X-axis, Z-axis, and Goniometer-axis) is the newest addition to the OES (Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc.) family of high precision motion control stages. Built to order, a user can select from any combination of linear stages with travel lengths of 15 mm, 30 mm, 50 mm, and 75 mm for both the X and Z axes that feature high precision 1 mm per turn lead screws, and if required travel lengths over 100 mm are also available. Additionally, one of two goniometers with +/-10 degrees or +/-15, degrees of travel can be selected and mounted in a horizontal (pictured) or vertical orientation.

Van Nuys, CA – Motion Control – Eight new Yaw-and-Pitch Stages have been introduced by OES (Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc.). These new series of high precision Yaw-and-Pitch Stages integrate Goniometers as the lower stage (yaw axis) and a rotary stage as the upper stage (pitch axis). The yaw range of travel is +/-10 or +/- 15 degrees. The pitch range of travel is 360 degrees of continuous motion. The diameter of the pitch axis is 60 mm.

Applications include Laser scanning, drilling, and machining, reverse engineering, inspection, assembly, measurements, tracking, and positioning.
