It can be used sub-micron positioning when an external high resolution position sensor is used. This Linear Voice Coil DC Servo Motor from Moticont has a continuous force rating of 35.8 lbs. (160 N) and a peak force of 113 lbs. (497.2 N) at a 10% duty cycle. Quiet and clean, this low inertia, non-commutated, long life brushless, \u201cMade in America\u201d, linear servo motor features: Zero cogging and zero backlash when connected directly to a load, and high acceleration\/deceleration.<\/span><\/p>\n
The 3.750 in. (95.3 mm) diameter LVCM-095-051-01 Voice Coil Linear Servo Motor is 2.75 in. (69.9 mm) at mid-stroke. This high speed, servo motor is Ideal for: Clamping, assembly, testing, optical focusing, positioning, laser beam steering, wafer handling, dynamic vibration absorption and vibration testing, laser drilling, cutting, welding, and machining applications. Two threaded 10-32 UNF-2B X 0.38 deep mounting holes on 1.750 in. (44.4 mm) centers and two threaded 10-32 UNF-2B X 0.38 deep mounting holes on 1.000 in.
