Van Nuys, CA – Motion Control – The new Motion Control XGGR-50-10-15-60 Series of Four-axis Linear, Pitch, Roll, and Yaw Stages from OES (Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc.) is the integration of a Linear-axis stage, two Goniometer Stages, and a Rotary Stage. The lower Linear axis stage has 50 mm of travel. The Pitch-axis is a +/- 10 degrees Goniometer, the Roll-axis is a +/- 15 degrees Goniometer, and the Yaw-axis (upper -axis) is a 60 mm diameter rotary stage capable of continuous rotation. These compact four-axis Linear, Pitch, Roll, and Yaw stages feature four motor options to meet the precision and speed of travel requirements of an application.

Van Nuys, CA – — Innovations in Motion Control Technology – Two new XY-Theta Alignment Stages have been released by Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc. (OES). The XYR-15-60-01 and the XYR-15-60-04 Alignment Stages feature 15 mm (0.58 in.) of travel in both the X and Y axes and 360 degrees of continuous rotation on the rotary axis. The new XY-Theta Alignment Stages are driven by Two Phase Stepper Motors featuring 0.25 micron resolution (20 Micro-steps per Step Motor Driver in use).

These four new AU270-YPR Three Axis (Yaw, Angular Pitch, and Roll) Gimbal Mounts were developed to be used with larger and heavier: Cameras, telescopes, directional antennas, optics, lasers, tracking and scanning systems. These new, larger, high stability, gimbal mounts are 400 mm wide x 480 mm high, weigh 50 kg and handle loads up to 10 kg and the Roll Axis features a large 90 mm thru hole for cables and optics.

(OES) is a high resolution, high repeatability XY stage for such applications as: alignment, assembly, laser drilling, machining, medical, industrial, semiconductor handling, testing, scanning, and optical applications. The linear travel of the X and Y axes is 50 mm x 50mm, and the resolution of each axis is 5 microns (non-micro-step) or 0.125 microns (with 20 micro-steps per step motor driver in use), repeatability is 1.5 microns, and positional accuracy is 5 microns.

The AT20-600-01 (pictured) is driven by a Two-Phase Stepper Motor features a repeatability of 5 microns, positional accuracy of 20 microns and has a knob on the motor for manual adjustment. The AT20-600-02 is driven by a Brushless DC Servo Motor with a Quadrature Incremental Encoder and the AT20-600-03 is driven by a DC Servo Motor with a Quadrature Incremental Encoder. Each of the Servo Motor options, the -02 and -03 versions, offer higher travel speeds, increased positional accuracy, and repeatability. The AT20-600-04 is driven by a Two-Phase Stepper Motor with a Quadrature Incremental Encoder mounted on the motor for position verification.
